I’m 65,been walking 30 min/day,4-5 x/week,since Nov,on a treadmill, and recently started trying to run. I ran 5 reps, 2:30 min @ 6 mph, with 1 min walk breaks @4 mph, and since then, the bottom of my left calf-about 9 inches above the floor, has been very sore. It’s not a cramp. Should I continue to walk which makes it sore after a few minutes, or totally stay away from exercising it? How long do I not work out, before I start again?
