Julie Thieszen is a Physical Therapist. She received her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She is also a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedics through the APTA (OCS), and a certified manipulative physical therapist (CMPT) through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy. She currently works two days a week at Body Tune Physical Therapy in South Ogden, UT and she independently owns and operates New Paradigm Physical Therapy in Salt Lake City on the other days.
Julie has taken a broad spectrum of continuing education courses and has completed the advanced course of Pain Reflex Release Techniques (PRRT-www.theprrrt.com) with John Iams, P.T. in San Diego, CA. She has worked with runners and walkers performing biomechanical gait analysis to target specific areas of concern and help prevent and alleviate injuries for 5 years.
Julie was a distance runner through high school and early college and now enjoys hiking with her Hungarian Viszla, Gunnar, and doing yoga. She is a certified yoga instructor at the 500 hour level through Dana Baptiste and has completed Anusara yoga teacher training with Sianna Sherman in San Francisco, CA.
Throughout the years, Julie has invested her time and energy into improving her skills and knowledge. This solid foundation has allowed her to live her passion and help others alleviate injuries and accomplish their goals.
